Tree Themed Photo Album

GUESS WHAT?!?!?! It’s Faith again from Faithfule Creations. It’s been so long since I’ve posted for the Robert’s Design Team, I almost forgot I was still on the team. Ok no, not really LOL! Anyway…I’m finally back with a 30 minute project or less. Dont you just LOVE quick-fast-easy…I sure do. I know many of you may have already put up your tree, but I’m still focused on giving thanks. This year was a VERY special Thanksgiving for me. I got to spend it with one of my nephews who I haven’t seen in almost a year and it was awesome! My lil guy is seriously one of the best behaved kids on the planet. I’m going to hire him to give my kids lessons actually. He seemed to have so much fun hanging out with us I wanted to make him a little keepsake of the occasion. I don’t create stuff for boys very often, even though I have a son of my own so I hope this is album will be well received. It’s a lot more plain and simple than I’m used to, but that’s pretty much how my nephew rolls.

Supplies Needed:
eCraft by Craftwell
Fundamentals 1 SD Card
Chipboard
Solid paper of your choice (16 brown sheets, 1 light brown, 1 red sheet…I used Core’dinations)
Xyron
Crop-a-dile
Fiskars Good Times 8 x 8 Stamps
Versafine Ink in Onyx Black
Heat Gun
White Gel Pen

Using your eCraft, cut Image 4 from the Fundamentals 1 SD Card at 10 inches out of your chipboard. I cut a total of 8. Then cut 1 out of your solid brown colored paper at 10 inches, one at 9 inches in light brown, and one at 8 inches in red to layer as shown. You could also go into your eCraft Pro Software and shadow and layer the images more precise if you like. I’m happy with how this looks though. For your interior pages, and back cover, you will want to cut an additional 15 brown cuts at 10 inches (I just left mine plain). Then run all of your paper maple leaves through your Xyron and adhere to your pages. Ink and sand edges if you like. Using your versafine ink, stamp your sentiment on the front cover and use a white gel pen to add a title if you’d like. Cut off the stems on the leaves and close with binder rings using your crop-a-dile to make the holes. Easy peasy! I thought this would be the perfect way for my nephew to remember this holiday. His Dad and I don’t quite see eye-to-eye and it sadly might be quite some time before I can see him again. Hopefully he will look through this album often and remember all the fun we had this year…sharing Thanksgiving with him completely made my day!
Now, be sure you head over to Roberts Arts and Crafts where you can use CYBERMONDAY47W to save 35% on your ENTIRE purchase! That’s too good of a deal to resist…yes it EVEN works on the eCraft machine! WOO HOO!
